Would you say humans like a bit of adventure?

The Meteora monasteries in Greece. Meteora translates literally to
"hovering in the air." They were built hundreds of years ago by monks who
initially lived in caves in the area. During the times of Turkish
invasions and occupation, the monks climbed higher and higher, finally
building their monasteries atop the tall rocks. Although they were once
accessible only by climbing the rock faces, the monasteries can now be
